Head of Google Android Sundar Pichai said that as long as you keep your Android up to date it should be very secure, "you will have some phones that will not be updated. That's where we see issues. As long as you're on a phone and able to update, Android is very very secure".

'Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cyber Security' released by the NIST

The Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cyber Security was released by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) on February 12th. 
The framework can be downloaded from our website in pdf format here.
It is a Cyber Security framework intended to complement the cyber security processes of any organization that deals with National Critical Infrastructure. 

Syrian Electronic Army Hijack FC Barcelona twitter account

Hacktivist group the Syrian Electronic Army hijacked the FC Barcelona twitter account and posted a number of messages including one to FC Barcelona "management," to not let "Qatari money" fund its operations.

Anti Pornography Bill Enacted into Law

The Anti-Pornography bill has been enacted into law. 
The enactment of the bill criminalizes all forms of pornography and in the case of ICT, it is illegal to view, store, promote or participate in pornography.

New Self-Replicating Malware Targets Linksys Routers and Access points

If you own a Linksys router or access point beware: There is a new strain of malware that is making its way through the Internet called 'TheMoon'.

Hackers using the TheMoon can log into your router without actually knowing the router's credentials.
